Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars | Egg Free

These Cookie Bars are soft, moist, super easy to make, and they're filled with gooey melted chocolate chips in every bite. If you love chocolate chip cookies, then I promise you will also love these Cookie Bars. One of the best things about this recipe is that they're made without eggs but they are just as delicious and comforting.




Ingredients:

  • 170g vegan butter, melted

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • 280g fl0ur

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 100g dairy free chocolate chips


Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk melted vegan butter and brown sugar until smooth and almost like a caramel sauce consistency.

  2. Then add flour and baking powder. Mix until about 90% of the flour is incorporated.

  3. Add chocolate chips and mix until well combined. Save some of the chocolate chips to decorate the top.

  4. Transfer the dough into a parchment lined 20cm square baking dish and spread it out into an even layer. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Let the cookie bar cool down for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
