Crunchy 10-Minute Stovetop Granola

Updated: Oct 13, 2022

This Stovetop Granola recipe is the perfect quick and easy breakfast you can make on busy days when you're in a rush. It only takes about 10 minutes to make, it is healthy, nourishing, and delicious.

UPDATE:

I remade this a couple days ago and sort of tweaked the recipe a bit. If you slightly push down the granola, with a spatula, in the pan and let it cool down, that way you'll get a chunkier granola. The end result had a super similar texture to a regular, oven-baked granola!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/3 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/3 cup almonds, roughly chopped

  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut

  • 2 tbsp mixed seeds

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp agave or maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. To a pan over medium heat, add the oats, mixed seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds, shredded coconut, and cinnamon.

  2. Toast the dry ingredients, stirring constantly for a few minutes.

  3. Next, add the agave or maple syrup, stir again and cook for 3-5 minutes.

  4. Let the granola slightly cool down before serving. This should only take a few minutes.

  5. Serve with fresh fruit, your favorite plant-based milk, or non-dairy yoghurt and enjoy!

Notes:

Optionally, you can add vegan chocolate chips, chopped nuts like walnuts or peanuts, or even dried fruit to this stovetop granola.

Store in an airtight container in your pantry for up to 3-4 days.
