Easy Vegan Chocolate Muffins

These Chocolate Muffins have a moist, soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and rich chocolatey taste. Perfect to satisfy your chocolate cravings and the recipe doesn't require a ton of effort either!



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 3 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 cup melted vegan butter

  • 2/4 cup unsweetened plant-based milk of choice

  • a handful of chopped dark chocolate bar or vegan chocolate chips, optional


Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix together the dry ingredients until they are well incorporated (flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder).

  2. Mix in the wet ingredients with the dry (vegan butter and unsweetened plant-based milk of choice), making sure not to overmix the batter.

  3. If using, fold in your dark chocolate chunks or vegan chocolate chips before evenly spooning the batter into a lined muffin tray,

  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes. You'll know they are ready when a knife or a toothpick comes out clean.

  5. Let the muffins cool completely!
