Frozen Yogurt Bars | Dairy Free

These Frozen Yogurt Bars are the perfect refreshing, and easy to make summer snack or dessert. You don't need any fancy ingredients or appliances to make them, you just need a little patience. When I was little, I remember, we used to make something similar every summer. We would freeze yogurts and we ate it like it was ice cream.

Ingredients:

  • 480g plain vegan yogurt*

  • 3-4 tbsp agave or mape syrup

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking dish with parchment paper, preferably something that is a bit deeper,

  2. Pour the yogurt in the parchment lined baking dish and smooth the top out into a somewhat even layer.

  3. Drizzle the agave or maple syrup on top.

  4. Top with chia seeds and frozen berries.

  5. Place in the freezer until the yogurt is set, at least 3-4 hours. I let mine set in the freezer overnight.

  6. Once it's set, cut into bars or squares and enjoy cold.

  7. Store leftovers in the freezer.

Notes:

* I recommend using a thicker, Greek-style yogurt. I used Alpro's coconut milk yogurt.

You can also use any other nuts, seeds, and fruits you'd like.
