These Frozen Yogurt Bars are the perfect refreshing, and easy to make summer snack or dessert. You don't need any fancy ingredients or appliances to make them, you just need a little patience. When I was little, I remember, we used to make something similar every summer. We would freeze yogurts and we ate it like it was ice cream.
Ingredients:
480g plain vegan yogurt*
3-4 tbsp agave or mape syrup
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
Instructions:
Line a baking dish with parchment paper, preferably something that is a bit deeper,
Pour the yogurt in the parchment lined baking dish and smooth the top out into a somewhat even layer.
Drizzle the agave or maple syrup on top.
Top with chia seeds and frozen berries.
Place in the freezer until the yogurt is set, at least 3-4 hours. I let mine set in the freezer overnight.
Once it's set, cut into bars or squares and enjoy cold.
Store leftovers in the freezer.
Notes:
* I recommend using a thicker, Greek-style yogurt. I used Alpro's coconut milk yogurt.
You can also use any other nuts, seeds, and fruits you'd like.
