These no-bake bars are super tasty and unbelievably easy to make. Perfect summer dessert or snack, because you don't need to turn your oven on to make these Peanut Butter and Chocolate Slices. All you need is a little patience and boom you'll have a delicious snack that is guaranteed to impress everyone.
Ingredients:
layer 1:
140g graham crackers
90g dates
3 tbsp agave
layer 2:
100g smooth peanut butter
layer 3:
160g 50% dark chocolate
2 tbsp refined coconut oil
3 tbsp agave
Instructions:
To a blender, add graham crackers, dates, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth. If you pinch a bit of the cracker and date mixture with your fingers, it should stick together.
Transfer the date mixture into a brownie pan and push it down, using a spatula or the back of a spoon.
Place the pan in the fridge to set for at least 15-20 minutes.
Next, add the smooth peanut butter to the same pan and smooth the top out, making sure it's in an even layer.
Place it back in the fridge to set for another 15-20 minutes.
Over a double boiler, melt the chocolate and refined coconut oil whisking frequently. When the chocolate is about 90% melted, take it off the heat and whisk for a few more seconds to fully melt the chocolate mixture.
Place back in the fridge to set the chocolate.
Slice into bars, serve cold and enjoy!
Notes:
Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
To set the layers quicker, you can also put it in the freezer.
